Help Modifying Pattern So Increases Match Decreases
I am begginning a tessellating fish blanket using the co-joined method described here, but I want to use the version modified to lie flat here. Since the modified pattern only covers making the nose-to-tail version of the fish, I need help converting the tail-to-nose version so that the fin shaping increases in the tail-to-nose fish resemble the decreases in the nose-to-tail fish.

Following is a summary of the modification from the original pattern to make the nose-to-tail fish lie flat, which says "Pretty much I just changed the pattern so that it decreased right next to the edge, instead of in the middle", but it seems to me she added increases to balance the decreases, rather than just moving the decreases to the outer edges.:

Original:
Row 6 (S1, k4, p10, k5)
Row 7 (S1, k4, ssk, k6, k2tog, k to end)
Row 8 (S1, k4, p8, k to end)
Row 9 (Sl, k4, ssk, k4, k2 tog, k to end)
Row 10 (S1, K4, p6, k to end)
Row 11 (S1 k4 ssk k2 k2tog k to end)
Row 12 (S1, k4 p4 k to end
Row 13 (S1 k4 ssk k2 tog k to end)
Row 14 (S1 k4 p2 k to end)
Row 15 ( (S1 k 4 k2 tog k to end)
Row 16 S1 k4 p1 k to end)
Row 17 (S1 k4 k2 tog k to end)
Row 18 (S1 k to end )
Row 19 (S1 k3 k2tog k to end)
Row 20 (S1 k to end)
Row 21 (S1 k to end)

Modified:
Row 6 (S1, k4, p10, k5)
Row 7 (S1, ssk, k1, kfb, ssk, k6, k2tog, kfb, k1, k2tog, k1).
Row 8 (S1, k4, p8, k5)
Row 9 (Sl, ssk, k1, kfb, ssk, k4, k2tog, kfb, k1, k2tog, k1).
Row 10 (S1, K4, p6, k5)
Row 11 (Sl, ssk, k1, kfb, ssk, k2, k2tog, kfb, k1, k2tog, k1)
Row 12 (S1, k4, p4, k5)
Row 13 (Sl, ssk, k1, kfb, ssk, k2tog, kfb, k1, k2tog, k1)
Row 14 (S1, k4, p2, k5)
Row 15 (Sl, ssk, k1, kfb, ssk, k2tog, kfb, k1, k2tog, k1)
Row 16 (S1, k10)
Row 17 (Sl, ssk, k1, kfb, k2tog, kfb, k2tog, k1)
Row 18 (S1, k9)
Row 19 (S1 k3 k2tog, k4)
Row 20 (S1, k8)
Row 21 (S1, k8)

So, for the tail-to-nose version, how do I alter the pattern to make the increases next to the edge? Do I need to add decreases in addition to changing the placement of the increases? Here are the original tail-to-nose directions:

Row 6 (Sl, k to end)
Row 7 (S1, K4 kfb, k to end)
Row 8 (Sl, k to end)
Row 9 (S1, k4, kfb, k to end)
Row 10 (S1, K4, p1, k to end)
Row 11 (S1, k5, m1 lifted increase, k to end)
Row 12 (S1 k4 p2 k to end)
Row 13 (S1, k4 k1 lifted increase prev st, lifted increase next st, k to end)
Row 14 (S1 k4 p4 k to end)
Row 15 (S1 k5 kfb, k2 kfb k to end)
Row 16 (S1 k4 p6 k to end)
Row 17 (S1 k5 kfb, k4 kfb k to end)
Row 18 (S1 k4 p8 k to end)
Row 19 (S1 k5 kfb, k6 kfb k to end)
Row 20 (S1 k4 p10 k to end)
Row 21 (S1 k to end)

I would really appreciate any help you can offer.
