Soft cotton yarn for sweater
I've made 2 Wallabys in Shine worsted and love its softness. I'm ready to make one for my dd, but am looking for some different colors. does anyone know of another cotton or cotton blend that is s soft as Shine?

I'm using SWTC Craft right now. It is part of the Vickie Howell collection and it is part milk fiber. Weird but it is very soft and I am loving it. They have some fun colors too.

CottonEase is very soft, don't know how it compares to Shine, though.

Elsebeth Lavold Cotton Patine is surprisingly soft. I'm making my Picovoli with it, and it has a similar gauge to Shine Sport. Even though it's 100% cotton, it has a bit of stretch to it also, which makes it easier on your hands than regular cotton. Usually cotton hurts my hands, but I really Cotton Patine. It's around $5/skein.

I just made a sweater for my Mom in Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece. It's 80% cotton, 20% Merino. LOVELY! and TONS of colors!

Thank you all for the suggestions. I've sent the sites for all of these to my dd to pick her choice. Can't wait to see what she decides. I had planned to make one for me in a worsted wool, but am now considering a cotton blend for it also.

I like Rowan Wool Cotton or KnitPicks Main Line. They're both cotton/wool blends.
