HELP....I AM SOOO CONFUSED...
HELLO EVERYONE, I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS SITE....I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT NEW KNITTING NEEDLES AND WOULD LOVE TO LEARN HOW TO KNIT....WATCHED CAST OFF VID AND TRIED BUT, GOT IT WRONG....I CAN CROCHET BASIC AND DOUBLE STITCH BUT, NOT KNITTING. IF ANYONE LIVES NEAR GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW....CAN'T WAIT TO MEET EVERYONE....AND IF YOU HAVE ANY STARTER TIPS....PLEASE SHARE....ALSO, HOPING TO LEARN HOW TO USE THIS SITE.....

THIS IS GREAT STUFF...CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR FROM EVERYONE.....SHARA:happydancing::happydancing:

I hope you watched the cast on video? In the 'knitters near you' forum you may find a group near you but I would tend to just watch amy's vids on this site again and again. Watch and try and watch and try. When you get it right you'll be thrilled to bits.

Are there any local YARN shops near you? They usually offer lessons. If you still can't get it after watching the videos, I recommend seeing someone in person who can show you. Don't give up!! Once you "get it" you'll knit forever.

It took me several tries to get the cast off to work. I had to keep pausing Amy's video...I think I worked on it for about two hours before it made sense
