New knitter need help

Okay I am very new to knitting and I have just made washclothes to practice my knit and purl stitch. I was wondering if someone could help me with this pattern to make sure I am reading it right

"Cast on 140 stitches.

Row. 1 -10. knit.

Row. 11 thru 20. - K 10 *K 10, P 10* repeat *to* until 10 stitches left and K 10.
Rows; 21.-30. K 10 *P 10, K 10* repeat * to * until 10 stitches left and K 10.

Knit until approx. 35 inches or looks good then Knit last 10 rows. "

Okay the underlined part of the pattern do I knit 10 and then knit 10 again and purl 10 and then repeat knit 10 purl 10 until 10 stitches left? Just want to make sure I understand
