Nice Intarsia/Fair Isle patterns?
I want to make a felted bag with some sort of two colored design on it. I was thinking about a flower or tribal border or maybe a big intarsia picture in the middle. The yarn I want to use is dark gray and white. Any ideas for free patterns links? I've googeled both intarsia & fair isle but couldn't find anything nice. I wouldn't mind something a little crazy...

Did you check out the charts at www.knittingpatterncentral.com ? It links to different sites with charts for patterns.

You can also use needlepoint charts, too, if the gauge works out ok.

Googling knitting charts his good, too.

i absolutely lve the stag bag from knitting daily. if i actually had some fair isle experience, i would knit it for myself. it totally has an unintended narnia theme going on. okay, now i have to go watch the movie.
