This is a great question, and one I intended on researching myself. I am fascinated by the fact that the Bible states God knits, He sews (Gen 3:7 - He sewed fig leaves for Adam & Eve, etc.), He gardens, He "planted a garden" in Gen. 2:8
The Proverbs 31 woman quote by Jeremy earlier is one of my favorites, a woman of valor works with her hands

.........FYI, some think the woman of whom King Samuel ("Lemuel" was his mother's nickname for him) spoke of in Prov. 31 might have been his predecessor Ruth (for whom a short book of the Bible is named). Fascinating story.
