I am going to knit this for my cousin and my mom (who's out of knitting practice) wants to make for my uncle in crochet. It's a Lion Brand: Men's Cabin Slippers

There are a bunch there... if you find one you like, you can probably alter it a bit to look how you want... just gotta play with it. Its much easier to frog than knitting is.

There are ways to convert knitting patterns to crochet and vice versa. Would that work? I found a few sites on a search on Google, here is the first one on the list:
