Felting outside

Can you let felted stuff dry out in the sun? I figured it would help it dry faster outside, but I didn't know if this hot weather would mess anything up.

Keep it out of the sun, the sun will fade your yarn.

When mine was mostly dry I stuck it outside to finish out of direct sunlight and it turned out fine.

I'm also hoping drying the felted wool outside will get rid of that "wet dog" smell faster, too!
