KnitPicks shipping confusion - now with yarn porn!
I'm confused. Why would my package go from Ohio, to Michigan, back to Ohio? I saw the arrival in Michigan on Saturday and thought that I might have my order today, but this says it won't be here until Thursday! I want it now dang it!

Someone may have put it on the wrong truck somewhere. That happened to an order I'd placed with JoAnn's. It actually got to the UPS place in town, but then someone put it on a truck and sent it to Arkansas!! I got it about a week after its original delivery date.

Well that's all screwed up, isn't it? A few of mine did that too, and it took me 2 weeks to get my order, and I didn't even have free shipping! That's about normal for them, though. I've since stopped ordering from KnitPicks./

Wow, Contiknitter, and you loved KP! I have tended to avoid ordering from them too in the past few months for the very same reason!

Well, even considering my angst with not getting my order as soon as I want it, I don't think it's necessarily KnitPicks fault. If the postal service screws up how can you blame KnitPicks? I suppose the only way would be to want them to use a different shipping service.

I dunno. The funny thing is that this happens to me with KP orders and doesn't seem to happen with other online shops. It may be coincidence though.

Probably is just a coincidence. I've never had problems with them, but I have HUGE problems locally with getting mail. It's just what the mailman decides upon, I guess.

I've ordered from KnitPicks several times and I have not had a problem as of yet.

My shipment arrived on Tuesday, only today did I have a chance to photograph it all, and not all of it made it into the photo! I started using a skein of the green Merino Style already.
