Does anyone have a recommendation for a good yarn to use for a REALLY soft, nice baby blanket?

I have a friend who is expecting after trying to get pregnant for a very long time, and I'd like to make her something really special. It's ok if it's expensive, I think it will be worth it! Thanks for your help!
