Fingerless gloves?

Sorry if there's a post on this already, but is there a pattern for fingerless gloves with crossed cabels?

You could always alter a mitten patter that has crossed cables and do a partial thumb and then an open place for your hands (rather than individual fingers). I've done this quite a bit for my girls.

These are like fingerless gloves. They use less than a skein of yarn.

You can extend the cables all the way down if you like, but I think the design is great as is.

and like someone else said, you can start with a mitten or glove pattern and leave off the closing on the mitten (just knit about an inch shorter than you want then put a k2/p2 binding) or w/gloves leave off the individual fingers and do thek2/p2 binding for 1/2" - 1".
