Huge problem - dropped stitches on sock gusset
Hello. I am knitting a sock and I got the heel done. I picked up my stitches around the gusset and I knitted all the way around for one row. I accidentally dropped the LAST 2 stitches on the first needle of the first row of decrease. I can't for the life of me figure on how to pick them up without a giant hole. :( I really don't want to start this again. I took pictures of what I have... here it is:

That's where the problem is in the work.

Try using a crochet hook - start with one of the knitted loops at the bottom, then work up the two ladder rungs. Repeat for the second stitch.

You can find a good illustration of the process at http://www.knitting.co.nz/site/page_..._learntoknit5/ (scroll to the bottom of the page).

Tried that a million times, leaves huge huge holes.

The problem is I dropped the picked up stitches around the gusset.

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions, but I was wondering what yarn and colorway you're using?

The cheap stuff. Red Heart sport... color: crayon.
