Anti-coloring books

I'm with Sabrina and Debi. I use color pencils when I color for myself, and I use crayons when I color with kids. Last year my grandfather had a major surgery and was in the hospital for a couple months so I colored him a picture from my Precious Moments coloring book and sent it to him. My grandma hung it up in his room so of course the nurses started asking about me.

"Well, she's very good how old is she"

I love coloring books! And what's better than breaking out that big Crayola 64 box? I love that one (I also like to rearrange the crayons so they are in color order, yes I'm a dork).

Thanks for the info. My daughter is not quite three so these are a bit advanced for her, but I'll keep the page bookmarked for the future. She loves to color and draw and goes throught little phases. Right now she is in draw grass under everything phase. This was preceeded by the the "mommy, draw a duck" phase. "now make a mommy duck!"

I like to keep them in EXACTLY the order they came in, and I get upset when it gets messed up.

Oooh! I REALLY want to colour now!! But I ahowed DH this thread and and he said we can go out tomorrow and get me a book and some crayons or pencils!

The anti-colouring books look fun too, but my DS is a bit young for them at the moment. I can't even get him to scribble yet
