I just got home from the hospital....added link to pic!!

My new niece, Talia was born at 11:44pm, Friday, August 24th, weighing 7lbs 12oz and 20.5 inches long!!!! While I was there I helped my sister get Talia latched on and she started nursing really well straight away! OMG I had forgotten what it was like to hold a baby that small.... it's been sooooo long since I've had a tiny one, and none of mine were ever that small outside of my mine were born weighing 8lbs 13 oz; 8 lbs 12 oz; and 8lbs 14 oz.....Talia is just SOOOO perfect and tiny and she has a head full of dark brown hair. I'm going to go back to the hospital tomorrow to give my sister some adorable things I've made for baby Talia, I'll ask my sister then if it's okay for me to share a pic of Talia.
You're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I'm tripping you

What do you mean guys don't knit?

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.

Congratulations! Isn't it funny, even if you have had your own children, you forget how small they started out. I love that new baby smell and size! Aaawwww! I hope we get to see a picture!

Congratulations! :D

Be glad you didn't have kids the size of my siblings. One of my brothers weighed 12 lbs at birth, and most of them were over 10 lbs! Hehehe!
