Need name of item
I am looking the the thing used to measure stitches and rows while knitting (usually used for doing the swatch). I do not know what it is called, and can not find one in the stores where I live. So if someone can tell me what it is called, I can start looking on the internet for it.

Usually you can use what is called a "needle gauge" or "knit gauge" for this. It is a 2 in one tool that is used to not only determine needle size but also help figure out gauge. Most needle sizers do have rulers on them, but ones like this are nice because of the window.

I hope that is what you were looking for!

You all are the best. I will be buying one tomorrow. I will be posting my pattern problem in the next couple of days, because I just do not have the brain power right now to try and write something complicated.
