What weight is rowan cashcotten 4 ply?
I'm looking to make baby booties following this pattern:

Per Yarndex...it lists as fingering weight. Seems about right for baby items. Sport weight is common for baby items too. It suggests a US 3 size needle but she went smaller, which is ok too.

Yarndex is awesome! It has "most" yarn brands, I've only been unsuccessful on a few types. It's a great tool for finding substitutes and for a lot of other "research" you may want to do yarnwise.
