Garter Stitch in the round?
I know it has to be simple, but I can't seem to figure out how to knit garter stitch in the round. I tired knitting one round and then purling the other, but that didn't work. Do you just purl? I know as soon as I read the answer the light bulb will go off and it'll make sense, but I just can't seem to get this on my own.

You do have to knit one row and purl the next, knit then purl. It may take a couple rows to show up. If you've cast on with long tail you might start with a purl row and see if that looks better to you.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
