Filet Crochet question
Question-- does direction matter?? I've got a dragon pattern I want to do as filet crochet, but the rows will me much shorter if I work top to bottom rather than side to side. They're all squares- so would it matter?

I've done filet in both directions. No, I don't think it will make any difference at all, except for the size. I'd love to see it when you're finished!!!

It's from Celt's Vintage crochet can't get ot it from work or I would kick you a link... I love the design. I'm doing a basic horse head pattern to learn the technique (about 1/4 of the way done already) then I'll dive into the dragon
