That is really a pretty garland. If you must have it you will probably need to learn to crochet. :-) Crocheting isn't hard. That pattern uses most of the basic stitches and if you made it you would learn about all you need to know about crocheting to do other projects. I think there are sites about crochet like this one where you could get help. Crochet is a good adjunct to knitting, you often see it in finishing for a knitted item. You could always knit up some leafy shapes and felt them and make the wreath out of that. It's a beautiful pattern
