Has anyone ever knitted a winter hat with the lion brand Tiffany fur like yarn? Any suggestions for a pattern?

Thanks....I am going to a cold climate soon!!!

You mean like this?

I think wool would be warmer though.

I bought some TIFFANY lions brand and it is very fur like...feels like my cat! I am thinking maybe more Russian looking with trimmed fur and regular wool yarn for body. i suppose I could do that with any typical hat pattern. Have you ever used circular needles to do a pattern that is suggested as flat and seamed? Are there any changes you must do?
I am looking at this pattern:
Cabled hat from lions brand (for same yarn suggested in pattern as I bought some of that at a close out..cashmere).
I am talking about two different hats here..

There might be some changes needed, but why don't you just find a circular pattern? Here's a few. If you want a fold up brim you just make it longer.

I checked out the sites. I am doing the sinful ribbed scarf which used a k1, p1 row across, followed by a k3, p3 row. There are 27 stitches on a size 10 needle.

I would like to follow a basic pattern for a matching hat and to do it on circulars. I am guessing I am going to need between 60 to 70 stitches to size the hat to my head.

What do I need to do on circulars to get the same stitch as the scarf for a matching hat?
Thanks

That's trickier.. I'd say get a piece of graph paper and plot it out so you can figure out the repeat and how many to co so it'll come out even.
