That turned out real well. I like the purple ribbon. Does the variegated yarn also have the MC green as one of its colors? There are rows where the green seems to be part of the variegated rows. It's kind of interesting when you find a yarn that has a color that matches the MC so well, it makes unexpected effects.

It is great that you do so much knitting for charity. I know it is appreciated by those on the receiving end.

Yes, it does. The Bernat Softee Baby seems to have several of those that do that. It does make an interesting combo when you use a solid with it.
