Print O The Wave - stitch count not adding up.

Hi all, my first post

I'm trying to start the print o the wave, and on the second pattern row, I keep ending up 2 stitches short :(

I have no idea where I'm going wrong. I've done lace before (Fiddlesticks' Peacock Feathers shawl). This is very frustrating. I'm only doing 2 repeats instead of 4, as I'm trying to use up the last of my Zephyr from the shawl. I'm casting on 48 stitches, and the first row works fine, then I purl across, but when I do the second chart row, I end up 2 stitches short.

Anyone out there have any ideas?

The stitches of the first chart add up to 48 on the first two rows. All I can think of is that you're missing a couple of yo's.

As you purl the second row, read the chart from left to right and make sure that you're purling into the yo's when you should and working the 2togs when you should. That should tell you what you're missing.

I tried it again, and yeah, I must've missed some YOs somewhere. It works now, at least for this row. Let's see what the rest of it brings ;P
