Arctic Lace Knitalong
Hi Folks,

Just started my first project from Donna Druchunas' book, Arctic Lace. Hoooo boy...I'm tinking (frogging) as much as I'm knitting!!! I've gotten through 2 pattern repeats of the Mobius Scarf, and I gotta tell ya, I'm getting REAL good at going backwards...

If anyone would care to join me in a support group for knitting the lace patterns from her book, please do!
Here's a link to the yahoo group home page:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ArcticLaceKnitalong/

I've contacted Donna, and she's agreed to post it on her book's webpage too!

(hope this works...)

Thanks! I need all the support I can get!

Diane

I'm so glad to hear someone else tinks a lot while knitting lace.

Arctic Lace Knitalong Project
Hi again,
Our group is up & running; Donna has graciously provided a lace-knitting workshop; we've been doing some swatches & we've just decided on our first project from the book: the North Star Scarf.

If you've got the book & want to knit some lace, come join us!

Diane

P.S. I'm getting a bit better at reading the lace charts, but still tinking & frogging... The eventual results are *so* worth it, tho...
