My Pattern call for SPORTS YARN. BUt I wish I knew if THIS was sports yarn. :

The Camo yarn is worsted weight, the clue is that it's gauge is knit on size 8 needles and the number 4/medium. That's the number designated for worsted weight; sports yarn would be 2 I think, like sock yarn. You could use it with that size needles, but make a smaller size.
