How often (how many inches) to pin a scarf being blocked?
Hello,
Finished my first fan and feathers scarf and am preparing to block. At what distance (like, every how many inches) do I pin? This is probably a totally newbie question, but I want it to come out well... Thanks for the advice,
El

I've never blocked anything, but here's some links that will answer your question I think.

I guess the best answer is, as often as you need to to get the shape you want. Some pieces only need a few pins every inch or so, others are much more intricate and so need to be convinced that you really want them to look like the picture. Meaning more pins.

Doilies are the worst. Scarves aren't bad, unless you need to keep the pins from making little scallops in the edge.
