Drops Patterns

Hey everyone, I just wondered if anyone had made any of the Drops Design items. I love their site, but it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes, and I haven't ever made anything from there (yet). and I reeeealllly want to make it. I like it much more than the Elann one, but the problem is, I can follow the Elann one and I just can't seem to get my head round this. I don't know if it's a common thing among the patterns, or if I'm just being really dense, but I can't see how it's constructed, or really where the pattern starts.

Any tips or advice would be great, thanks :-)
