Man's Ear Flap Hat
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, so please forgive me if it's in the wrong place.

But I am looking for an earflap hat for my DH. I've looked on KPC and other sites and I can't find a nice one at all. Most of what I've found has a pointy top and it looks ridiculous.

Anyone know of a basic pattern that I could use??

TIA.

I made an earflap hat that didn't have the pointy top (thats all I found when I looked too). I don't know if its what you want but it was Ron's Animal Cracker Hat, its fair isle. If you just want it one color you can probably just skip the fair isle part. I don't have the website anymore, but if you google "Rons Animal Cracker Hat cracked" then it should be near the top.

You're welcome! All it took was a trip to KPC.

I've made 3 of the earflap hats in Yarn Girl's Guide to Beyond the Basics. They turned out really well, and no pointy top in sight! You would have to get the book, though.
