sock yarn discrepancies poll

I don't really know how to do a poll, but was just wondering, how often does it happen to you that the yarn changes color from sock to sock?

this is the 3rd time it's happened (although I think once may have just been something very strange that happened in the wash, that's still weird in my opinion since I barely even used soap), maybe I am just cursed?
or using crappy yarn?

they will probably fade to the same color anyway?

I'm a little irked though.
