FO: Falling Water Scarf & Fingerless Gloves
Another Christmas gift -- this time for my sister-in-law. I loved making this scarf. It's a beautiful pattern and an easy knit, with just enough detail to keep it interesting. I had some yarn leftover, so I improvised a pair of fingerless mittens based loosely on the Knitty pattern, Dashing. The scarf pattern is here and the yarn is Merinos Otto Shadow in Dusky Rose.

Those are beautiful! and I love the color - they will make a great gift!

I wish I could figure out how to "improvise" mittens like that!

Both are beautiful!!
Would you be willing to share the fingerless glove design?
If not - that's fine. I just think they are so pretty.

Slim, as usual, your choice of pattern and yarn is impeccably tasteful...and wonderfully knit as well. You seem to have mastered the art of blocking, too. Your work always has such a polished appearance!

Thanks for including the link! This pattern is now on my to-do list!

What a lovely gift! Your "improvised" mittens look fantastic as well. That's definately on my "to knit" list!
