FO: Falling Water Scarf & Fingerless Gloves
Another Christmas gift -- this time for my sister-in-law. I loved making this scarf. It's a beautiful pattern and an easy knit, with just enough detail to keep it interesting. I had some yarn leftover, so I improvised a pair of fingerless mittens based loosely on the Knitty pattern, Dashing. The scarf pattern is here and the yarn is Merinos Otto Shadow in Dusky Rose.

Those are beautiful! and I love the color - they will make a great gift!

I wish I could figure out how to "improvise" mittens like that!

Slim, as usual, your choice of pattern and yarn is impeccably tasteful...and wonderfully knit as well. You seem to have mastered the art of blocking, too. Your work always has such a polished appearance!
