You are more than welcome to join the project, my friend!

All knitted squares are appreciated, no matter how imperfect they are.

And you can use any color combination you want. Solids are great too.

Nice idea... may I sign in all the way from across the Pacific Ocean? I usually know of someone going to the States, and I'll just ask the person to drop in my square or two when he/she gets to the U.S.

This could be part of my charity knitting project for 2008, plus give me a chance to learn new stitches and to destash.

Thanks again

Shandeh, Hi! Can you use some squares that are Caron Simply Soft, 100% stockinet stitch? I can do a few squares with Red Heart Super Saver by hand, but to turn out a lot of squares for you I would rather use my machine. It doesn't like regular 4 ply yarn much, but the Caron SS Brights work well with it. Thanks! Mary

Well, we could probably use about 6 squares made that way. So, you can make those if you want.

Sandy, I'll see what I can do to make 6 reasonable blocks. Thanks also for your Seed Blocks pattern. I'll try it.

Isn't it cool to do things for charity? It's the most fun thing in the world to me except teaching Sunday School.

Mary

Yes it is, Mary! My knitting for charity is much more satisfying than knitting for anything else.

I'd love to help out if I could. What size squares are you looking for?

Thanks Starburst!

We're making squares that measure 12 inches, using washable worsted weight yarn.

I'll send you a PM.
