Cable Confusion
I haven't done cables in awhile, so now I'm a but confused. I am making a blanket and it says

K10 [p2, cf, k3, p2, k9] 4 times, p2, cf, k3, p2, k10

So, how many stitches am I supposed to put on the cable?

3??

Maybe two... Doesn't the pattern give any indication in the notes before the cast on instructions what `cf' means?
