Help with Tiny Tot Helmet

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I've tried twice and have gotten stuck in the same place both times with the pattern for the Tiny Tot Helmet. I'm hoping you gurus out there can advise me.

I can get through the first part of the Back shaping portion just fine. It's when I get to the second part, after the With Wrong Side Facing, that all goes haywire. The lines don't line up correctly on one
