Where Can I Get Portuguese Knitting Needles??? (They have hooks on the tips)
Anyone know where I can get Portuguese knitting needles? They have hooks like crochet on the ends and my mom would really like some for Christmas.

See here on YouTube if you don't understand what I'm talking about.

So far this is the only place that I've found that sells them.

http://www.lacis.com/catalog/data/n_knitting.html

They are the Hook / Point Knitting Needles.

I don't crochet but..... don't those look just like crochet hooks....is the only difference that the shaft of a knitting needle is longer?

I'm pretty sure this is what you are looking for.

e-bay

More e-bay

They are called afghan hooks or Tunisian hooks. They are long crochet hooks with a backing like a knitting needle.

I'm not familiar with afghan hooks, but these needles (unlike what I could see of the ones on ebay above) have a knitting point on one end and a hook on the other and are long like knitting needles.

SKACEL CRO NEEDLE
Addi turbo makes "croneedle", one end with a crochet hook and the other with a knitting needle end. I found them online at
