I finally finished my part of the Crayola blanket. I really like the basket stitch with the red yarn.

That looks great! I think I'll continue with the basket stitch pattern if you don't mind. I should be able to tell where you left off.

Ok if we are going basket stitch I am going to need a quick run down of what to do. It looks like it is a certain number of k then purl for a few rows and then it switches? Am I right? That would be so cool and it looks easy if I am.

Shoot! I hope I didn't freak you out. I didn't mean to make the whole blanket that way. I've just been loving that stitch pattern lately.

It's super simple and you are exactly right with just knit and purl stitches. Depending on the variation that Shandeh used I can write it up and include it with the blanket once it gets to me if that helps.
