Woodins from the latest Knitty! Seriously, they're so cute! And the log would double as a nice hand muff These are for my brother's birthday and will be mailed out on Monday. And no he's not a child, he's a year younger than me (25)...but we like to be absurd with the gift giving.
I feel slightly abusive not giving them mouths but...tough!
Oh my gosh, Those are so funny and cute. I would love those as a gift no matter how absurd they were. They look cute without mouths and I think that knitting a log just sounds hilarious.

I think that knitting a log just sounds hilarious.
I gotta say, this was a really fun thing to KIP. It never got old to watch the reactions to the "Oh what are you knitting" question. "Oh this is bark. For my log."
