Noro "lookalike" yarn
Debbie Mumm has a yarn out that is sold only at Joann FAbrics. It's made of some wool, some acrylic and "other fibers". It looks a LOT like Noro colorways!!!! Its much softer and less expensive and looks really beautiful. I bought four skeins yesterday. I'm sure if it's popular they will come out with even more colors. Only cost $5.99 each.

I don't have the link at hand, but if you scroll through to my thread from a few days ago ("Debbie Mumm"), someone responded with links to some great photos of it.

Yarns are now listed on Joann.com
The Debbie Mumm yarns are up on the JoAnn website now. Just use Debbie Mumm as the search words.

I went to my local JoAnns yesterday to buy some art stuff and saw the Noro-like yarn. It was soft, I think, but I've never really worked with Noro so I wouldn't know. It also looks like the Patons SWS.

Yes, the one that is similar to Noro is the Debbie Mumm "traditions" line.
