I love cables! And the colour is great too, I like that it's green and not baby pink or something, a girl's got to have some variety!

thanks everyone for the nice comments!! yes, i do love cables, it was nice making this after having worked on my aran afghan that has all kinds of complicated cables and these were just two simple cables with yarn that wasn't fighting being twisted. i chose the color because i know that the mom's favorite color is green so there's more of a chance that she'll put in on my niece! i hope they like it
