Gryffindo Scarf Finished
Despite the cheap yarn (Red Heart), this turned out pretty good and I finished it in time

I might make me one of these in a softer yarn before the next movie comes out. Yarn suggestions anyone????

Your scarf looks cute! I'm not a Potter fan or Lord of the Rings, whichever it is, but I like the technique involved for this scarf. I may make myself one in my favorite colors--green and pink! Good job!

I love it! I made one too for my DD, but I think I used a too-maroon yarn. Yours looks much better. THank you for posting photos!

I like Plymouth Encore. Also Caron Simply Soft would be nice.

I love your scarf, and want to knit one for my nephew for Christmas. Where did you find the pattern?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was all worth it, when my DS had such a good time at the party he wore it to.

Thanks for the yarn suggestions, speattle. I will have to check out the color choices in those!

Slim, I used the pattern in the Charmed Knits book. There is a pattern that is almost identical by Atypicalknits. You can find the link at the beginning of the Harry Potter KAL thread. Good luck on your scarf!
