stitches 2 projects togther

Hi all! I just joined and I have a question. I started knitting about 3 weeks ago, and I am trying to make a blanket for my nephew who's due in November. I started knitting and I've ended up with 2 scarfs. So I was thinking that in order to save "the blanket" is there a way that I can stitch the 2 together? Thanks for the help!

To join two strips without a bulky seam, try the edge-to-edge seam found here.
