Wow! It looks cool..but for the record, knittinghelp is my favorite site! Can't wait to check everything out! My name is merryknitter there, as well!

I'm open to any tips from you all!

I think when I signed up there were like 13,000 in front of me...LOL! It didn't take that long.

I agree thaat KH is tops

What do you mean guys don't knit?

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.

I got my invite today too!! Still going by the name of Boogs.

I am not obsessed, I'm just highly pre-occupied!

Web etiquette
I dont know - call me old fashioned - but isn't bad form to be going on about a rival (rivalry ravelry) site one someone else's forum?

Ravelry is not so much a forum as it is a place to put everything knitting into order. They do have forums there and we have a KH forum there as well. I think one compilments the other very well.
So that is my two cents worth
Happy Knitting

I am memere on Ravelry

I would tend to agree.. fromt he look of the site.. it's more about projects/stashes/sharing patterns ..

If you go into thier forums, sure they have 'em, but they aren't anything special.. KH Beats them for forums any day..

I use it to maintain my projects and stash and needles.. :D I need a PM tool for this stuff..
on Needles (before flood, trying to find them): Hogwarts Scarf (PoA), Curly Pumpkin (DPN)
Recently Finished: Baby Christmas Hat, LB Big Scarf
Looking to do: Aran Pullover

I have to agree about the forums. I feel at home here, but on Ravelry there are so many people. It doesn't feel so cozy.

OTN: Corona, Miter square blanket, Charity blankets
FO: Forest Canopy Shawl, Easy Baby Bootees, Kitty Pi, Ms. Marigold, Twinkle Toes, Josh's socks, Hedera socks, Spring Beret, Ashley's Birthday socks, Socks for the DBF's mom, grey socks for the DBF, my first socks, reversible cable scarf, ribbed hat for the BF, Manos Del Uruguay afghan, and a whole bunch of dishcloths!
