Size 17 Circular Needle Needed 29"
Does anyone know where I can find a size 17 Circular Needle, 29" length?
Hopefully, somewhere in the US. All I have and can find are 24" length.

Thanks

I have some Susan Bates needles that are labelled 29'' but in actuality are more like 31 inches. What do you need the 29'' for, could you just cram the stitches onto the 24?

I am knitting a sweater and right now I have the stitches spread out on two 24" 's. But the pattern called for 29" length, it sure would be easier.
I can't find them anywhere.

I bought one at Joann's, though it might be 31/32". You can try there or Michaels or Hobby Lobby. That might work better for you too.

Well, you could always order the Options! The tips go up to 17 now and they have a 32" cable.

You know if Options would take my Boye's in trade, I would do that. (I would love to own the Options, need to get rid of the Boye's first )
Thanks for the info, one more reason to coven the Options.

KnitPicks sells the interchangeable pieces separately.

You could buy a pair of Size 17 metal needles for $7.99, and a 32" cable for $3.99. Or if you prefer, you could get the Size 17 pair in wood for $9.99.

So, for about $12 to $14 plus shipping, you could have a 32" circular in Size 17.

Since you have the Boye set already, you could get a longer cable. Hobby Lobby sells replacement cables and needles.

Or get the kit that lets you connect two cables together. I put the 16 and 21" cords together and got a needle that was about 45".
