FO - log cabin square
Now this was fun!! I got the Mason Dixon book from the library and saw this and had to try it. It's so easy and what a great way to use up stash scraps!

Very nice! I made a bathroom rug from that book...log cabin style. It's a fun, easy pattern!
I love what you made though! Very cute pattern for a dishcloth!

Definitely! You can make each section as large or small as you want, too. I also wove in the ends as I went along so I didn't have many of those to do either. Whew! See if your library has the book, it's pretty neat!

Is this the book?? If so, I just reserved it from my library and am first in line whenever a copy becomes available. Yay! I love something new.

Yes, that's it! Lots of neat stuff in it and some funny and interesting things as well. I'm making another square with some random blues and multi that I have. I'm making these as squares to give to Sandy for the charity blankets. We do the squares..she gets the fun of sewing them together.

That is so cool!
Is that book worth buying? I'm making a list of ones that I'd like for Christmas....

I have that book and I LOVE it. I would definitely recommend buying it. The patterns are so original and it's a really fun read too. I tried the whole log cabin thing with my scraps of Manos. I was going to make a log cabin style block and then felt it, just to see how it turned out...but I messed up the log cabin somewhere and frogged it. This makes me want to try again though!

I took the MD book out of my local library and hated having to return it. Lots of great stuff!
