Pattern Help
Hi everyone, I just joined I think this site/forum is great I've been crocheting for a while, although nothing more than a few scarves and the odd baby blanket a year. I know how to follow patterns and abbreviations to an extent but not too much. Well I was browsing the Lionbrand website and found this cute shawl that I wanted to start. The only problem is, is that I don't understand a part of the pattern.

Ch 3, join with slip st in first ch to form a ring.
Row 1: Ch 3 (does not count as dc), 10 dc in ring, do not join.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in next dc, 2 dc in each dc across 19 sts.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in next dc, (ch 2, sk next 2 dc, 3 dc in next dc) across 6 ch-2 sp.

I get row 1,2, & most of three except for the last part I'm not exactly sure what to do, or what it means. please help thank you

That bolded part just means that when you're done with row 3 you should have 6 chain-2 spaces in your row (plus all the double crochets).
