Groovy Sweater Dress
Pattern: Groovy Sweater Dress/Twinkle's Big City Knits
Yarn: Twinkle Soft Chunky
Color: Urchin
Needles: sizes 17 and 19

Had some minor problems with the pattern vagueness. Really wanted the top "vine" to come out of one of the middle "rib" sections, but the decrease row for the ribbing was so vague I just could not make it work. In the book, one of the photos shows it coming straight out of a rib and another photo shows it like mine.

Next problem was on the neckline. The pattern said to turn, then bind off 2 sts, turn, bind off 2 sts. I might have done it wrong, but that bind off left me with holes. I may re-do the neckline if I can figure out what i did wrong.

I have never worn anything with bobbles, and I think I feel a little weird in it.

That came out great!! The Twinkle yarn is definitely the hot new thing this season - enjoy your dress.

I think it's cute! Model it for us (asked in a non-creepy way)?

I will! As soon as a I figure out closing up the holes on either side of the neckline. AND find the right pants to wear under it (which I own but can't find!)

I love it! The colour is really nice too, looks flattering. Make me one to wear with leggings and boots?

Other than a little pattern confusion, it really was not that hard. Took about 9 days to knit. And that's only knitting in the evenings. You can do it!
