Labels?
Does anyone know where I can get "made with love by Jennifer" labels for my FO's?

Here are some generic labels.

http://www.hancockfabrics.com/produc...8751/8751.html
http://wovenfabriclabels.com/
http://sewing.about.com/gi/dynamic/o....com/page.html
http://www.2kembroidery.com/embroide...inglabels.html

I've ordered them in the past customized to say "Handmade By Mirl" or similar. I was able to have my name/nick name printed on them. I know I still have some - I'll check whem I get home to see if they still have a referenace to where I ordered them from. I think it may ahve been from a company more geared to sewing then knitting.

I also would love that information. That is the ultimate finishing touch to something made as a gift for someone, or just for something you made for yourself. When anyone says "that's lovely, where did you buy it?" you can show them the tag inside and say "I knit it myself!"

I've purchased several types of labels from personalized (e.g., "Made with Love by Nana"), to material type (e.g, "100% Acrylic"), to washing instructions (e.g., "Wash in Warm Water; Cool Iron Only", etc.). Folks really appreciate the labels on gifts, especially the labels listing washing instructions. Also, if you sell your crafts, there are regulations regarding how your items have to be labeled. The two places from which I've purchased labels are listed below. I preferred SterlingTape's labels.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, that's great. Now I have to convince them to ship to Canada, but I can manage that I am sure!
