Pattern charts?
Hey ya'll!
I'm going to make the Chapeau Marnier Cloche from the Summer 2007 Knitty (http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer07/PATTmarnier.html)
but I so don't understand pattern charts... in the chart, what does it mean for the blocks marked as "No stitch"? How do you not have stitch in the middle of a pattern? Its not a slipped stitch or yarn over or anything.

Thanks for your help!

You don't do anything, skip over to the next stitch in the chart and do that to your knitting. It's there to keep the chart square, knitting isn't with its incs and decreases.
