Beginners using 2 strands of yarn held together?

In case you're working from yarn that needs to be rewound into a ball, you can wind both together. I know not everyone likes to do it that way, but it works for me.

One of my first projects was the 6-hour throw that holds together 4 strands its really not that hard you just have to make sure you don't drop a strand

I was thinking about the ziplock baggie thing and thinking of putting a hole in one of the corners to thread the yarn out of and then completely zipping the baggie closed. Seems like that would make it pretty secure and lessen the chance of tangling...
