What length of a circular needle cord for sleeves?

For a men's standard sweater with Lion Suede yarn, what length should the circular needle be if I want to knit the sleeves with it? Thanks :D

Since the cuffs are probably going to start at 10-12" it would be hard to find a circ that short. So you could start with a longer one and magic loop, or 2 circs or dpns and work until it's large enough to use 16" needles.

I use 16" for sleeves & 24" for everything else.
