Rowan Big Wool--Mittens?

I would like to make mittens from Rowan Big Wool but don't want to buy (or use) such dpns in 17s. I have a pair of 17 straight needles. Does anyone have a pattern or know where I can find a pattern that knits mittens in one or two pieces that I can then sew together?

Here are a couple of ideas which might help you. I couldn't find a lot of options for a bulky/super bulky weight 2-needle mitten pattern.
