fo: first sweater

Ok I started this sweater late Sunday night and just finished it! Well I still have to buy and sew on 2 buttons but you get the idea. It used 43 oz of sock yarn on size 1 needles. I used this pattern and really enjoyed knitting it. I'm hoping it will fit her soon after birth, along with her amethyst socks. I included a sharpie marker in the photo to try to give you some idea on how small it is. I'm so tickled it turned out so well! This is the first sweater I've ever knit.

So tiny ! That is BEAUTIFUL ! I can just imagine how soft it is, being made from that sock yarn !
And,.......BONUS........ her dolly can wear it when she gets older !

So cute!! And wow, how tiny is that!? I always forget how little my babies actually were (and one of them was less than 6lbs at birth!)

Love the colour. Very nice.... and only 27 days until you can put it on a REAL baby instead of using a marker for a baby, lol. OK I wish you a lot of luck with your upcoming arrival. Just in time for a new angel at Christmas time. Best wishes!
